Wine Summary
Glenlofty’s cool-climate vineyards have been carefully nurtured since 1995. Formerly blended into premium wines for top wineries like Penfolds and Seppelts, the remarkable fruit is now allowed to shine under its own label, thanks to Andrew Koerner (of Blue Pyrenees fame) and his talented winemakers and viticulturists. "The size of the Glenlofty Vineyard is so vast that the 32 blocks are often referred to as if they are separate vineyards. Thus this wine is described on the back label as Glenlofty's ‘first single vineyard chardonnay release'. It's a brilliant straw-green, showing some development; the palate is elegant with classic grapefruit and white peach flavours and creamy, nutty notes ex barrel ferment oak." (Halliday)
