Back in the 1980s, when others were being paid to pull their old Grenache vines, d’Arry Osborn refused. Today, d’Arenberg are the custodians of nearly a third of McLaren Vale’s old bush vine Grenache. It’s actions like this which have paid dividends, with d’Arenberg taking home the title of Winery of the Year at the London Wine Competition in 2020. In this 2018, you’ll be greeted with delicate red fruits, violets and tomato leave aromas and moreish flavours of raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate and rhubarb. <i>“An excellent release.
