Head an hour south from Adelaide to explore Langhorne Creek on the Fleurieu Peninsula. It’s close to McLaren Vale but enjoys a cooler climate thanks to the winds that blow across Lake Alexandrina from the Southern Ocean. Known as the ‘Lake Doctor,’ this cooling breeze revives the vines and helps produce wines of great complexity and concentration.
