As UK writer Matthew Jukes says, “Zonte’s Footstep wines are not ‘old world’, nor even ‘new world’, Zonte’s is out of this world!” The juicy, rounded – and exclusive – 93pt Zonte's Footstep Cream Puff Chardonnay is grown in the Adelaide Hills. The cool climate fruit is ripe with yellow stone fruit, melon and citrus characters. Choux pastry notes, light baking spice and a subtle creamy palate inspire the name. "Wonderfully composed and expressed, the wine shows ripe nectarine, lemon peel, cedar and brioche characters on the nose, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that's succulent and supple.
