As custodians of this legacy Nick Badrice heads the winemaking team that crafts modern expressions of signature Barossa varietals. Look for fresh aromas of raspberry and dark berry, bright and textural redcurrants with a hint of spice. Elegant and refined with subtle oak, a persistent length and a supple tannin finish. This one, which has scooped a Double Gold in its debut vintage, is a real treat for the senses!

This classy white is made for lazy warm weather drinking on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The International Challenge Gilbert & Gaillard judges loved its "Complex nose combining lime, white peach and jasmine. Well-defined, fleshy and rich in the mouth, driven by a lovely, invigorating freshness. The pure, crisp fruity aromas are a delight. Gold". Tyrrell's is one of the most famous names in Australian wine. Founded in 1858 in the Hunter Valley, five generations later they still produce some of the country's finest wines. They are renowned for the world's best Semillon and produce many other wines with legendary status. Their list of awards includes Australia’s Best Winery, Winery of the Year 2010, Winemaker of the Year twice in 2004 and in 2009, 14 out of 19 Trophies at the Sydney Show and many more! In 1994 they made their first foray into Heathcote. The excellent structure and white pepper lift of this red are thanks to the ancient Cambrian soils, unique to this area. With firm structure, dense fruit and supple smokiness from 18 months in oak, it's best decanted early or cellared.

Co-fermenting rather than post blending, allows the fruits flavours to develop in synergy, resulting in a naturally harmonious wine. Expect tropical fruits and citrus aromas with lifted white flowers. Slippery and lasting on the palate, it delivers a luscious fruit expression of pear, citrus and fresh pineapple. A voluptuous wine and a mighty match for hard cheeses.
