The Wine
The complex nose offers rancio, raisins, bitter chocolate, coffee grounds, treacle, candied orange peel and brazil nut in layers of aromas. The palate exhibits toffee apple, caramel, fig, dates and spicy fruit cake with a building richness and a warm, lingering finish. Delicious served with Panforte after a main meal or try it with sticky date pudding, butterscotch sauce and freshly whipped cream!
