The Spirit
James Fleming founded the distillery in the heart of Speyside in 1879, naming it after the village of Aberlour. It lies in the dramatic Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes. For this, both traditional oak and seasoned Sherry butts are both used, mellowing the crisp citrus and delivering a subtly balanced flavour that still has plenty of fruity Christmas cake notes.
