Situated in Victoria’s cool Pyrenees region, Blue Pyrenees was founded in 1963 by French company Remy Martin. These days, it’s 100% Australian owned, and the grapes are all estate-grown. Under winemaker Andrew Koerner (ex-Rosemount) the estate’s reputation has grown steadily, with 5 Red Stars from Halliday and this from Huon Hooke: “consistently one of the best value red wine producers in the country ... the prices are a gift”.
