Cox Family Wines Tumbarumba Pinot Gris 2022

An aromatic single vineyard Pinot Gris grown at approximately 530m above sea level in the cool-climate region of Tumbarumba. Located in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, it is the coolest viticultural region on mainland Australia. The bouquet has attractive biscuity, pear and flinty aromas with beguiling complexity. The rich and full palate has fresh citrus, nashi pear and yeast characters. A balanced natural acidity runs throughout and the moreish finish is clean and lingering. The Gilbert & Gaillard wine judges give it a rare Double Gold medal and describe it is as being "enlivened by a gourmet exotic touch, great freshness, a pure fruity score, sapid bitterness, unfailing liveliness."
