The Wine
Winemaker Todd Payne “started in the Great Southern, thereafter the Napa Valley, then back to Plantagenet, then on to Esk Valley in Hawke’s Bay, plus two vintages in the Northern Rhône, one with the esteemed producer Yves Cuilleron ... His move back to WA completed the circle" (James Halliday). Modern white wine making techniques are employed in the production of the Lifestyle Chardonnay, with temperature control considered critical from the moment the fruit reaches the winery. A rich, soft and creamy texture. There are flavours of creamy lees with nutty oak and subtle peach. A complex Chardonnay with great drinkability.
