The Grenache uses fruit from the limestone-rich McKay’s vineyard in Clare’s Watervale, and sings with elegant, fresh red fruit. The Eastern Ranges Shiraz is from one of Clare’s highest Shiraz vineyards, and brims with bright, fresh red and purple fruit. The Cabernet is from the family’s Kirribilli vineyard – textbook Coonawarra Cabernet, with cassis and pencil shaving aromas quickly joined by blackcurrant, blackberry, vanilla, liquorice and later a hint of mint, and fine, gravelly tannins.
