The Wine

It's made from Cortese - a local grape that thrives in the chalky soils and cool, maritime climate of the Lancellotta estate in premium Piedmont. This wine takes its name from a small plot shaped like a trumpet (La Trombetta). The vines are 35 years old and produce small quantities of concentrated grapes. The wine has a perfect harmony of citrus fruit, mineral notes and freshness. Classic Gavi, it excels alongside grilled fish, or fresh prawns and oysters.
