Blueberry, cassis and pencil shaving notes, with a touch of mint on the nose. The palate is well structured with grippy yet ripe tannin, black fruit and dark chocolate together with bright acidity give a long clean finish. A solid, savoury Cabernet Sauvignon that will benefit from 12+ years cellaring. "Hand-picked, cool ferment, daily pump overs, aged in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads for 18 months. Always a star performer, Devil's Elbow is consistently blessed each vintage with energy and life that you can taste. Black and red soused berries, baked earth, leather, warm spice.
