A mature, barrel-aged beauty demonstrating poise, power and elegance. The highly acclaimed Watkins Heritage Collection Cabernet features just a dash of Shiraz, which adds to the wine's complexity and depth of flavour, while a full 24 months in oak lends it "vanillin oak, cake spice and cigar characters on the nose" making it "Flavoursome and highly enjoyable" (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit). Concentrated, ripe fruit flavours of blackcurrant with hints of liquorice, all carried to a lengthy finish on silky tannins. This is a perfect alignment of fruit, acidity and tannins.
