In the Halliday Wine Companion, Ned Goodwin MW srites: “Lots of whole berries in the mix. 14 months in all French oak, 15% new. Despite the warmer western plot, there is a welcome litheness. A pulpy, floral, dense and powerful wine, with just enough freshness...! Lilac, boysenberry, kirsch, varnish, tapenade and salumi. Sweet and sappy across the finish. 94pts"
