From a well-respected winery owned and operated by David and Matthew Lloyd, 3rd-generation McLaren Vale vignerons. An estate GSM with plenty of upfront fruit “rich and lively… Delicious, if not a bit sweet, with the whole-bunch element imparting briar, cardamon and clove to serve as a restraining order on kirsch, lilac and spiced plum.” Ned Hoodwin, The Halliday Wine Companion. Huon Hooke adds that it has: “Excellent balance, ample tannins being absolutely warranted by the power of the flavour.”
