Very impressive,95pt Gold-winning Hunter Valley Chardonnay from the Margan family’s Timbervines vineyard planted over 50 years ago on red dolorite soils hand harvest and fermented in new French oak. It boasts great "breadth of texture and sheer intensity... A marrow of ripe stone fruits, glazed quince, dried mango and classy edges of vanillin oak" (Ned Goodwin MW, The Halliday Win e Companion). Absolutely delicious.
