Mature Spain Dz & Ermita Dz BULK

A stunning 24-bottle collection of fine aged Spanish reds combining the Mature Spain Dozen with a 12-bottle selection of the lovely Ermita de San Lorenzo Gran Selección. This winner of the Spanish Wine of the Year Trophy at the China International show is made by our old friend Pamela Geddes at the 500 year old Bodegas Ruberte. 60% of the wine is intensely flavoured Garnacha from vines planted in 1958, and the balance is Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds classic cassis character and structure to the succulent and spicy, raspberry-rich Garnacha. The wine is aged a full five years in French oak – and has enjoyed a further two years now in bottle. A rich and fragrant red, it is perhaps at its best served with lamb.
