Michael and Filippo Scarpantoni helped plant their family’s prize vineyards in the 1970s ... by hand, using no machinery! In fact, the Scarpantoni family has roots in McLaren Vale dating back to 1958. Their lavish reds are much sought after by connoisseurs – not surprising, considering they have taken out Australia’s No.1 wine prize – the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy! This is soulful stuff packed with classic dark chocolate, blackberry and a mile-long finish – truly delicious and great winter drinking.
