An engineer by trade, he invented an irrigation system then planted a vineyard to show wine estates how it could benefit grape quality. Now Zuccardi is one of Mendoza’s leading cellars: winner of Best Vineyard in South America, New World Winery of the Year, a Lifetime Achievement award, Top winemaker prize and their top wines regularly gain 100 Parker points.
