Wine Summary
The Bill & Arthur is named after two pioneering and well-regarded Coonawarra local legends and, we are delighted to tell you, that in the glass, this special exclusive is deep, dark and downright delicious. Drawn from the 1890s heritage row and other Redman vineyards with an average vine age of about 50 years, the Bill & Arthur stands as a classic Coonawarra Shiraz: medium-bodied, with a richness of fruit that ripens at a lower alcohol level than typical Barossa and McLaren Vale Shiraz. Hand-plunged and basket-pressed, the 2021 exhibits generous blackcurrent, violet and bramble aromas, leading to a savoury flavor profile with a touch of pepper and Chinese five-spice playing in the background. Just add barbequed ribeye with black pepper sauce. Dan Redman describes the 2021 vintage as one of Coonawarra’s best. Matured in aged American and French oak for about 12 months. Will cellar for 5 to 10 years but ready for immediate drinking pleasure.

Wine Summary
Thorn-Clarke is one of the largest family-owned wineries in Barossa, and as Halliday notes: “The quality of. grapes retained for the Thorn-Clarke label has resulted in a succession of Trophy and Gold medal-winning wines at very competitive prices.” “47/23/20/10% Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec/Cabernet Franc/Merlot, matured 12 months in French oak barrels. A characterful and ageworthy blend in which Malbec and Cabernet Franc play more than a support role.... The crunchy redcurrants of Cabernet uphold a bright, tangy core of freshness and integrity, holding long through an even and enduring finish. One for the cellar... 93pts” (Halliday Wine Companion, Tyson Stelzer).

Wine Summary
Scoring 91pts at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show, Bleasdale’s classic Generations Shiraz is bang for your buck whichever way you turn. Rich Langhorne Creek fruit, with 22% spending 12 months in new oak. Dark plums and milk chocolate on the nose, with hints of blackberry and cracked pepper. Concentrated fruit flavours on the palate – plum and bramble and hints of vanilla. Vibrant fruit encased in a soft, velvety envelope. Perfectly proportioned, a pleasure to drink. The Halliday Wine Companion adds, “Best of all, there's a chalky texture through the palate that adds a moreish and sophisticated feel to the finish… 93pts”. Another triumph from Halliday's Winery of the Year 2024!

Wine Summary
An impressive Margaret River release from Howard Park, a distinguished WA estate owned by the Burch family, a founding member of Australia’s First Families of Wines. The Feng Shui cellar door is a ‘must-see’ according to Halliday. With their Margaret River Shiraz they aim – successfully – to combine the ripeness and opulence of warmer climates with the spice and elegance typical of cooler ones. A mouthfilling mix of black and red fruits; boysenberry, cherry, plum, attractive leafy notes, hints of tobacco, spice and black olive. “Fruit from a blend of vineyards in and around Wilyabrup. Matured for 18 months in French oak (25% new). Dark and resinous on the nose here, the palate shows really brilliant concentration of flavour. The tannins have a cooling, minerally flow that shape the palate, making for really quite elegant drinking. There's a lot to like here... 93pts (Erin Larkin, Halliday Wine Companion).

Wine Summary
The Langhorne Creek region is one of South Australia’s oldest wine regions. Its history is littered with colourful characters, none more so than the region’s namesake, Alfred Langhorne, who earned the nickname 'The Liar’ for his extreme economy with the truth. Though he couldn't be trusted in business, he definitely had an eye for top-notch grape-growing areas. This rich, smooth beauty is honest proof – and it has just won a Double Gold medal in France to prove it!

Wine Summary
From Lake Breeze, Halliday Wine Companion's 'Best Value Winery of the Year 2022'. They also dominate year after year at the Langhorne Creek Wine Show as the Gold medal will attest. The grapes for the Bullant Cabernet Merlot were selected from old vines in the famous wine district of Langhorne Creek. "92/8% cabernet/merlot. A wine that punches above its weight. The cabernet is rich and rounded, lots of dark, sweet fruit flavours bubbling away mid palate. The merlot fills out the centre, the mouthfeel rich and warm-hearted. You'd be pressed to find a red wine of better value across the land... 90pts. Great Value" (Tony Love, Halliday Wine Companion).
