The Angas King range is named in honour of the banker, pioneer and pastoralist, George Fife Angas from England, who played a significant role in the formation and establishment of the free settled colony of South Australia. Angas King is used for premium Shiraz from four of the state's greatest winemaking regions: Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale.
