Common Ground is a label used from time to time by Sam Brand of Brand & Sons for special projects and/or collaborations with different growers and other wineries. The Brand family have always felt intrinsically linked to the the Coonawarra Terra Rossa, and Sam uses this label in an effort to acknowledge the unique partnership of the land and those who work on it – and the balance necessary to keep the land in good health. Often overlooked for its premium white wines, Coonawarra benefits from the warm summer days and cool-nights of the region, with summer heat helping to ripen the fruit and the crisp nights locking in the flavour. Citrus and snow pea aromas segue into a fresh and varietal passionfruit, lychee and lingering stone fruits. Crisp and refreshing.
