A variety with a fine future in these parts, serving up a palette of bright natural acidity and gnarled tannins. Floral, full weighted and pulpy, yet far from simple as a salve of smoked meat, dried tobacco, olive, iodine, clove and thyme is fired by a parapet of ferruginous tannin and integrated acidity.
