Enjoy a very classy rosé from the respected Risky Business wine company. This is a Trophy-winning Pinot Noir pink from Great Southern, also with two Golds and scores of 93 and 95pts.
This is no stranger to show success. The 2023 vintage won TOP Gold and 95pts at the National Cool Climate Wine Show. On top of its Trophy Golds and 95pt score, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit calls it: "“Brightly fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows raspberry, red apple, and rockmelon notes, leading to a finely expressed palate that's juicy and lively. It's vibrant and zesty with a long, mouth-watering finish. 93pts.”
The name Risky Business is decidedly tongue-in-cheek because the partnership headed by Rob Quenby has neatly side-stepped any semblance of risk. The grapes come from vineyards in Great Southern and Margaret River in WA and King Valley in Victoria.For this the Pinot Noir was grown in the Mt Barker part of Great Southern and has contributed good weight and mouth feel with fine and delicate fruit flavours on the mid palate. These flavours are well matched by its crisp, fresh acidity. It's a well balanced clean, crisp and dry rosé.
