The Wine
“The Forbes family has been farming since the early 1900s. Zilzie is currently run by Roslyn Forbes and sons Steven and Andrew… now solely focused on grape growing from substantial vineyards” (Halliday). Their winery was built in 2000, and today “the wines consistently far exceed expectations, given their enticing prices.” This is a lovely fresh Grenache brimming with ripe raspberry aromas and flavours, well deserving its two Gold medals.
