Lake Breeze has a beautiful cellar door and restaurant where you can enjoy a tasting and lunch overlooking the vines. Or try their curated picnics for a romantic experience. If you have the cash to splash, you can visit the estate by helicopter from McLaren Vale, enjoying a scenic flight, lunch, and a bottle of wine. Music festival lovers, plan your visit in November when they hold the Handpicked festival, a laid-back festival of music, wine, and good times in the vines. And if you're an animal-lover, be sure to try Lake Breeze's special-edition Bernoota which supports the Bongo in a collaboration with the Monarto Safari Park.

The Follett family has grown grapes in Langhorne Creek for over 130 years. They started making their own wine in 1987 when Ken and Marlene Follett decided to keep back some of their fine Cabernet to become the first Lake Breeze wine. Their sons now run the estate, with Greg Follett as winemaker, Tim Follet as Vineyard Manager, and Roger Follet as Managing Director. The winery, situated on the banks of the Bremer River, is surrounded by majestic river red gums and overlooks the 225-acre vineyards. It's a beautiful spot to taste some wine and maybe indulge in a platter or a long lazy lunch or picnic. Remember, Vineyard Partners get extra-special treatment!
