corryton burge
Rooted in the Barossa since 1855, Corryton Burge is where family heritage meets exceptional modern winemaking, and where every bottle tells a story that spans six generations.
About corryton burge
When John and Eliza Burge arrived from England in 1855, they planted vines in the Barossa and began a winemaking family legacy that has never been broken across six generations. The Corryton Burge label takes its name from Corryton Park Homestead in Eden Valley, a property whose vineyards were first planted in 1851 and whose stone griffins now proudly guard the family's wine label. Today, Grant and Helen Burge's children Trent, Amelia and Toby carry the estate forward with deep roots, genuine passion and a talented winemaking team behind them.

Meet the Winemakers
Sixth-generation winemaker Trent Burge grew up among the vines and has spent nearly two decades honing his craft in both the vineyard and the cellar. Chief Winemaker Matt Pellew brings more than 30 years of experience to the team and was named Barossa Winemaker of the Year in 2022, while winemakers Andrew Cockram and Imogen McNamara add specialist expertise across the white and red wine ranges. Together, they form one of the Barossa's most accomplished and cohesive winemaking teams.

The Vineyard
The vineyard surrounding Corryton Park Homestead sits at elevation in Eden Valley, where the cooler microclimate produces wines of natural elegance, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling. Beyond the estate, Corryton Burge works with a loyal network of trusted Barossa growers, selecting fruit from across the valley to craft their broader range. All wines are made at the family's 120-year-old winery in Tanunda, where traditional methods and modern precision sit comfortably side by side.
Corryton Burge Wines
