The Wine
Eden Valley’s Mountadam Vineyards is nestled on a unique rocky outcrop ranging in elevation up to 550m. The vineyards were founded over 50 years ago by David Wynn, a legendary name in Australian wine, the first to recognise the potential of a cool, elevated site to produce Australian wines of great elegance and structure. He named the vineyard after his son, Adam, who later became the estate's winemaker for a while. They produce Riesling of exceptional flavour and quality, as evidenced by this intense, citrussy, floral example. "Crisp and dry with a sizzling minerally acid driveline, great velocity and clarity.
