Wine Summary
Dowie Doole was founded in 1995 by Drew Dowie and Norm Doole, and grew under winemaker and managing director Chris Thomas. The estate has vineyards in two of McLaren Vale’s most prized sub-regions Blewitt Springs and Tatachilla and produces very impressive reds.

“A 65/35% blend, crushed and destemmed, cultured yeast, 10-15 days on skins, matured for 12 months in 80% American and 20% French oak (40% new). Bright colour; as powerful and complex as the vinification would suggest. "It's luscious, yet distinctly elegant. Representative of a new generation, but also ex this great vintage... 95pts. Great Value” (Halliday Wine Companion, James Halliday). To 2037.
