And the Barossa Valley wine region is a first-class destination for top-class Semillon. Endless warm sunshine days and cold valley nights make the perfect conditions for achieving optimal ripeness. The winemaker was delighted with the parcel of Semillon which made its way to the winery in the cool, crisp morning just before sunrise. Quickly, they got to work. Crafting a wine with classic varietal characters of juicy citrus and freshly cut grass. Textural and soft on the palate. A refreshing addition to any table when serving a creamy pasta. It well deserves its TWO Gold medals.
