A really lovely mix of summer wines. Whites include a vibrant Scarpantoni Chardonnay, a dazzling Adelaide Hills Sav Blanc, and a perfect Pinot Grigio. In Rosés, you've Sam Trimboli's Gold-medal Pink Duck, a regal Fleurieu treasure, and a lavish Yarra Valley Pinot Noir Rosé, winner of a Winestate Trophy! This is a wonderful summer mix you'll be so glad to have on hand.
nThe Peos Four Jacks range of wines is named after the next generation of the Peos clan, who are growing up quickly, ready to take over the responsibility of running the family business from their fathers. The young Peos family will continue to follow the family winemaking traditions, however, will look to position this range as a more modern and contemporary offering that appeals to their generation of wine drinkers and beyond. The fruit is harvested in the cool of the night, and every decision made during the meticulous winemaking process places maintaining fruit freshness front of mind. It brims with ripe citrus, stone fruit and melon flavours. Bright straw with a pale green hue. Lime zest, grapefruit, hint of floral spice. White peach, tropical fruit sweetness, white flowers, crisp, fresh natural acidity.
Fresh, lively and oh so food-friendly … Scarpantoni Chardonnay is a very easy-going style of wine, full of ripe, fresh tropical fruit and classic Chardonnay peachy aromas and flavours. An excellent food wine, it matches well with just about any foods you might match a dry white wine to, but fresh white seafood dishes (white fish, squid, prawns & crab) are perhaps the best accompaniment to this wine.
Awarded Best in Class by Winestate magazine, a Top Value recommendation by The Real Review, and a solid 93pts from WineOrbit, this Pinot Rosé from the Yarra Valley's Hirsch Hill Estate deserves your attention and a place at your table. With aromas of strawberry, grapefruit and soft hints of lemon peel, the consistent follow through to the palate displays further notes of strawberry with flavours of citrus and red apple. The beautifully balanced acidity and textural creamy finish make for one mouthwatering Rosé.
Great wine starts with individuals who share a great passion for winemaking and viticulture, those who are prepared to look deeper than the rest, work a little harder and stay that bit longer. In addition, they intimately know their craft. This Pinot Grigio shows all the hallmarks of a traditional Italian style, with a nose overflowing with nashi pear and white blossom. It's perfect for looooong summer lunches.
Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Courageous. That’s the motto of Kings’ Creed in South Australia’s beautiful Adelaide Hills district. Their aim is to “craft small batch wines of quality with bold character.” The wines are made by the legendary Ben Riggs, so that’s a creed that will be easy to live up to. Their gorgeous Rosé certainly shows lots of wonderful bold berry flavours on a deliciously tang, crisp palate. Chill, sip and enjoy!
Since the launch of the first Yarrunga Field, Sam Trimboli has been delighting customers with his fabulous wines and winning awards. They don't call him 'Mr Medals' for nothing! Only in the last four years has he set up his own family winery and, in our opinion, is producing even better wines. He has made us the dark, spicy Black Duck from Durif, and the White Chardonnay Pinot Grigio Duck, but this is his first, and very delicious, rosé. Sam is from Italian heritage – his grandfather grew vines in Italy 90 years ago and his parents emigrated here in 1967 – so perhaps it's of no surprise that he has used nearly all Montepulciano here. A splash of Vermentino adds extra lemony zip. A pretty hue, lovely ripe fruit and zesty freshness.
