Savour a well-balanced, dark cherry single vineyard 93pt Victorian Sangiovese from the Plenty region just out of Melbourne. “This is immediately appealing on the nose with red cherry, wild strawberry, thyme, game, and almond notes, followed by a juicy palate offering smooth flow with silky texture and finely integrated tannins. It's attractively composed and expressed with a lengthy, succulent finish. 92pts.” (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit). Shows the versatility of this Italian variety, as it can produce excellent Rosé as in this range, and the more typical lighter dry red of which this is a super example.
