The Wine
Glenlofty’s cool-climate vineyards have been carefully nurtured since 1995. Formerly blended into premium wines for top wineries like Penfolds and Seppelts, the remarkable fruit is now allowed to shine under its own label, thanks to Andrew Koerner (of Blue Pyrenees fame) and his talented winemakers and viticulturists. “A 59/41% blend, cool-fermented separately, 12 weeks in used French oak with twice-weekly lees stirring. Light straw-green; juicy, bright and brisk with apple, pear and lemon fruit flavours. This will likely develop very well indeed with time in oak…91pts” (Halliday Wine Companion, James Halliday).
