Lake Breeze Bullant Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2019

From Lake Breeze, Halliday Wine Companion's 'Best Value Winery of the Year 2022', the Bullant Shiraz is their entry-level offering but it delivers "extraordinary value" (Tony Love, Halliday Wine Companion). You have to feel for the vineyard workers who danced amongst the vines avoiding the menacing bull ants who resided there. And this Shiraz has just as much bite. It can partner a cheese plate equally as well as a rare fillet steak. "Deep ruby core, some purpling tints at the rim. Blackberries and bresaola on the nose. Dark fruits open the palate but morphs quickly into an earth and meat savoury tone. Good flow with supple tannins carrying it quite long into a slightly saline finish.
