John Lehmann, writing in The Australian notes: "Great Southern wines can be left a little in the shadow of Margaret River, but its cooler climate can deliver elegant cab-savs like this. The nose is refined, with blackcurrant and pepper plus a hint of eucalypt and lavender, while the palate is generous with blackcurrant, cassis, some juicy acidity and subtle oak in a long, balanced finish."
