The Blue Belle throws back her flame-hued mane – a beauty of the Adelaide Hills. Don’t mistake that shimmering beauty for weakness though – she takes no prisoners and will challenge all who take her on. Yet with that bright silvery gold hue, her vivacious charms, the bright elegance and opulent fruit, the Blue Belle is hard to resist. This 95pt Chardonnay is grown by Simon and Melissa Roe in Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills, not far from Shaw + Smith. Peach and stone fruit aromas with lifted vanilla spice oak characters which extend to the palate. Finishes long with citrus tart acidity.
