The Wine
The name Risky Business is decidedly tongue-in-cheek because the partnership headed by Rob Quenby has neatly side-stepped any semblance of risk. The grapes come from vineyards in Great Southern and Margaret River in WA and King Valley in Victoria. The Mt Barker (in WA) grown Pinot Noir fruit has contributed good weight and mouth feel with fine and delicate fruit flavours on the mid palate. These flavours are well matched by its crisp, fresh acidity. A well balanced clean, crisp and dry Rosé. Aromas of red berries follow to flavours of strawberries and raspberries.
