The Trophy-winning and eleven-time Gold-winning Taylors Jaraman was one of the two Chardonnays in the top 10 at the upmarket Chardonnay du Monde festival held in Burgundy itself., judged blind by some of the world’s leading critics. "You’ll probably grab this from the fridge and pour a glass, to enjoy a nose of star fruit and citrus, some orange pith, melon, nectarine and spice. Bill Taylor, grandfather of the current custodian, Mitchell, first set foot on the estate on the same day that Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon, in 1969. Clare's great Jim Barry helped them set up. Three generations later, Taylors has a worldwide reputation for excellence. In fact, Taylors has been rated the ‘No. 1 Winery in the World’, out of over 50,000 producers, by the prestigious World Association of Wine Writers and Journalists., and also voted one of the Top 5 Wineries in the World (4 times).
