The Limestone Coast produces a plethora of classic wine styles. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and more. And the unique limestone geology, terra rossa topsoil, cool ocean breezes and consistent cloud cover help give the region’s various styles wonderful freshness, balance and elegance.

Where is the Limestone Coast wine region?

The Limestone Coast wine region stretches along South Australia’s far southeast, bordering Victoria and the Southern Ocean. It runs from the coastal town of Robe in the northwest down past Cape Jaffa and Kingston SE to Mount Gambier, encompassing inland areas like Coonawarra, Padthaway and Wrattonbully.
